I had a good list of names. But sadly dp has narrowed it right down to 2.
whilst I quite rather like them, i am not sure either of them is THE name.

so hit me with them, anything you can think of. but it must be cool.

Out of your list I like Asa and Conrad the best. I knew a darling little Conrad; he was always called Raddie. I love Asa, but then I really like Biblical names (Ezra, Gideon, etc.) I have a relative who has a Noah and an Abram. I think a lot of these names are really cool. But whoever mentioned Theophile, I must say I immediately make the jump to pedophile!

My friend, who is, like me, german and , unlike me, lives in Germany has a Nico...wasn't so sure about that at first...because I know a fair few parrots that go by Nico....

Well, my boys are called Sven, Yannic and Flynn....they are unusual nmaes (well, over here , well, Yannic and Sven are anyway)

Ugh, not Caden! Please refrain from anything ending in "aden". Please!!! No offense meant to anyone here who has a DS/D with a name like that. Here in the US you can't spit for hitting a little Jayden, Jaidan, Kaiden, Caiden...it all started with Aidan, which I love, when it's spelled correctly at least. But it morphed into Aaden and Aydin and then a million other things followed suit. I used to work with a little Xhadyn...pronounced Zay-den. That's not a real name!!!!!!!!

Whew. Apparently am holding some hostility here...

I live in Minnesota, and we do have our fair share of Jakes and Gracies as well. (As well as the whole Parker/Foster/Carter thing) I work in early childhood so I can always spot the name trends. (Had five Ethans in one class once...)

Where are you, MadamDeathStare? Fellow Yank?

grouchyoscar · 02/05/2009 15:15

My next DS will be either

Virgil or
Stirling

Well, thanks for defending us, Madam. What was the other Earp brother? Morgan?

Caravaggio? Really. Interesting.
