Just wondering whether to risk a popular name.

Hulababy · 09/03/2009 19:45

DD would have been Oliver had she been a boy. She is almost 7.

My cousin's daughter had a baby last week. He is called Oliver.

One of my other cousin's has an Oliver - about 2y I think.

Friend's DS is Oliver - age 5

Another friend's DS - about 20y

pageturner · 09/03/2009 19:48

My DS2 is Oliver, he's 6 (Yr 1) and there are no other Olivers in his class. One in Year 4 and one in Year 6 though.

luckywinner · 09/03/2009 19:48

1 and he is 4. I don't think its such a popular name, more of a classic one, and a really nice one too.

gladbag · 09/03/2009 19:49

There are three in my son's class - Foundation, aged 4 and 5.

hippipotamiHasLostSixPounds · 09/03/2009 20:10

The only Oliver in my ds's class is ds himself. He is 9.6.
In a school (junior school) of 280 pupils there are exactly 2 Olivers (one aged 9.6 which is ds and one aged nearly 9 in the year below ds)

There are 2 Olivers in dd's school (infant school, 270 pupils) One is in Y1 and he is nearly 6. The other is in Y2 and he is 7.

The only other Oliver we know is the ds of a friend of mine who goes to a neighbouring school. He is also 9.6.

Sidge · 09/03/2009 20:14

None in DD1s class Year 5 age 9/10.
None in DD2s Reception class age 4/5
None at DD3s nursery age 2/3
