I know 2 poppy's.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 03/03/2009 16:03

I know a couple of Poppys, and truth be told, it's what I wanted to call dd. Dh vetoed. I still love it, but I have to be honest, I know a 10yo Poppy, who does seem to have outgrown the name a little. It seemed much more appropriate when she was younger, IYSWIM.

But it is a gorgeous name.

Just one.

DD was a Poppy for a couple of days, but then we changed our minds. It is now her middle name. Still sometimes wish we had stayed with it, but so many lovely names to choose from.

belgo · 03/03/2009 16:04

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 16:07

None,

I wanted to call DD Poppy, but my friends has bagsied it, lol - plus is awful with our surname!

Wigglesworth · 03/03/2009 16:07

I know 2, my Mum's persian cat and my DH's god daughter.

blametheparents · 03/03/2009 16:08

wotulookinat - That is precisley the reason that we changed DD's name. That and the fact that in two days my Dad had already called her 'Pops' too many times for my liking and he would carry on like that!
