Gabriel or Saul?

My cousin has a Gabriel and has just named her new baby Rudi

Oooh, love them both. I'd go for Gabriel, I think. More classic.

Don't really like either TBH but I suppose if you name your child Saul, there's precedent for him to namechange to Paul later

I prefer Gabriel - makes me think of Far From the Madding Crowd ... and Bagpuss

I considered both when pregnant, but have two DDs. Gabriel is becoming quite popular at the moment, so on that basis I'd say Saul.

Gabriel is gorgeous. I don't like Saul at all.

Love Gabriel.. it was one of my picks for ds3, but dh was not as keen on it so we went for Noah.

Saul. 'Tis Slash from Guns'n'Roses real name. Can't get much cooler than that!

Oh I love the name Gabriel.

I love both names, but if I had to choose, I would go for Saul. Great names, as is Leo.
