Rachel is really, really lovely. have had it on my list of girls names for each of my pg's, despite normally going for more unusual things

thisisyesterday · 08/08/2008 20:24

Lucy?

squeaver · 08/08/2008 20:25

Emily
Rebecca
Katharine/Katherine/Katie
All variants of Elizabeth

BellaBear · 08/08/2008 20:25

David seems to be a name that could be any age (if that's what you mean?) even though it has had periods of greater and lesser popularity

CuckooClockWorkOrange · 08/08/2008 20:25

No offence to all the millions of Hannahs out there, but why aren't some of them Rachels? Rachel is spunkier. I do apologise for saying spunkier like a home and away character.

Not sure about Emily. Almost nobody between 25 and 65 is called Emily.

Rebecca, yes, know loads, at school and it's in the top ten.

Lucy, yes, know grown up ones and baby ones.

David, no sorry the panel will not accept David as apart from bebby dehvid from the Royle family, don't know any Davids under 25.

all names date. either they are in fashion when the child is born - as those on this thread all are - or they aren't (liz, ann, kathy, all variants of your fashionable ones)

CuckooClockWorkOrange · 08/08/2008 20:27

Robert?

Amelia, no sorry I won't accept that one. Don't know any Amelias over 23. Louise is a definite non-dater. Good one.

I know loads of Davids under 25. But then, I'm a teacher so I know loads of people under 25. Still, there are quite a few.

Amelia was popular 100 years ago, and has been revived.

Jessica seriously?

norkmaiden · 08/08/2008 20:40

Cuckoo, Amelia has been around for eons - and I know one in her 20s.
