Is Beckham too out there?

Bit of a long shot but how do we feel about Beckham as a first name? Obviously it’s hard to separate from David, Victoria, and all that at this point, but wondering if it’s too loaded or if it still works as a forename?

I am a massive Beckham fan but even I wouldn’t name my child that.

Don't get why anyone would, as even by the time he/she is at school, it'll still be associated with that family.
If you want that link, just go with David, because even though you know why yo picked it, no one will immediately think of that.

It is the surname of a globally famous family. That's all it is. It isn't a first name and the only thing people will think the moment they hear it is the Beckham family. For the whole of your child's life.
