Yes, they’re all American and mostly surnames.

But Autumn as a name is very popular in the USA. I think it's is much more.popular there than here and it been a common name there for a while
I worked with someone in the 1990s who called their child Autumn. I had never heard it used as a name previously. They had just returned from living n the USA for several years and it was a popular name used there then.

They all sound a little bit 'CSI Miami' to me, and very modern. They might label your child as 'clearly born in the 2020's', but if that's what you want, it's fine. You might want something a little bit more timeless though.

All your boy names are surnames. American by way of Scotland, really. I quite like occupation surnames but I think you should modernise. Forget Cooper, why not Binman, or Plumber?

Just to clarify absolutely nothing wrong with sounding American which I obviously have a leaning towards. I like modern, non classic or traditional names. I actually work in America and the thing is the list of names I’ve written aren’t obvs American names when you’re in America (if that makes sense) so it’s interesting to get a British perspective who might not be travelling or living in America.

Well no, of course not. I imagine names that Americans would view as particularly British wouldn’t be seen that way in Britain. Things like that are always based on the outside view.

They are all very American. Not sure why some people think Autumn isn't American sounding, I've only ever heard it as an American name.
You and your husband have very different taste in names, I think it will be a struggle to find names you both like.

Agree all of them apart from Autumn, and I’d probably say Harper is popular because of Harper Beckham, but I know English children called both.

Kassia is nice. I know a Cassia and prefer it spelt that way. Thea is nice and very middle of the road. I like Octavia a lot.

Delaney isn’t one I’ve heard of before. It makes me think of Gary Delaney rather than a sweet little baby girl.
