Clement
Leonard
Quentin
Raymond
Walter
Wilbur

We have a Leslie at school, and a friend's DS has the middle name Roy, which I love ❤️

Clive and Martin are my favourites

TheLivelyRose · 30/10/2025 18:37

There's a difference between classic and old man names.

With the girls, Doris is an old lady name whilst Victoria would be a classic.

Old means those that are only seen on much older generations and havent stood the test of time.

Arthur remains a popular classic. John, Edward, etc are classic. They dont date or go out of fashion.

Old man names IMO are names like Brian, Derek, Barry, Gary, etc.

MoominMai · 30/10/2025 19:00

Only two I could think of not already mentioned are:
Bertram
Harold
