Thoughts on Cassian Jack?

We're due a baby soon and have fallen in love with the name Cassian. We love the middle name Jack, but aren't sure if it goes. Please could I have your thoughts on Cassian Jack?

My immediate thought IS Captain Jack and think of pirates. I do love the name Cassian though, not sure it sounds right with Jack.

Cass is pretty cool if you were going to shorten. Not that keen on Cassian in full. Jacks nice.

Cassian is fab. I am also struggling with Cassian Jack and I think @SparklyCardigan has hit on the problem. How about:

Cassian Oliver
Cassian John

Another here who's first thought was where has all the rum gone. If you like Cassian (not my cup of tea but it's not my baby) then I don't think you can use Jack as the middle name without most people thinking pirate.

I think with the middle name Jack, you need an occupation surname as a first name.

I normally think it’s fine if middle names don’t flow at all. But Cassian Jack is also giving me pirate vibes, so I wouldn’t do it!

Love the name Jack, don’t like Cassian. But agree with others that Cassian works well with a longer middle name like Alexander.
