Elsie. I don't like it, but haven't said anything. It's too similar to her cousin's name (same letters different order, same middle initial, same surname)

Aw Elsie is one of my favourite names. ‘Cutesy’ for a child but strong for an adult.

I don't like it. I don't like how it looks or sounds.
It's currently very popular, sounds like Chelsea, Ellie etc, and I've definitely heard it shouted out loud in a budget supermarket. I don't know any adults with the name other than friends of the baby's great-great-grandmother.
There must be thousands of names to choose from, so why pick one so similar to her cousin's.
