Olivia and Isabel, and Oliver and Henry are the most overused round us.

DemonsandMosquitoes · 26/05/2025 18:27

Anything ending in ie. And Noah.

Emanwenym · 26/05/2025 18:28

About 20 years ago it seemed like every other baby was called Chloe, and if not was Jack or Harry.

Now there are lots of Evies and Ellies.

If overused is 'a name I don't like but there are lots of them' then Ava and Theo.

It’s regional isn’t it. So many Olivias, Isabels and Theos in my area when mine were growing up that they felt like filler names. Like Mark, Steve, Clare and Louise while I was at school.

JohnTheRevelator · 26/05/2025 18:56

Joshua. Jamie. Liam. Ellie or Ella. Evie.

My God, the Kray brothers!

I’m a primary school teacher…one of my parents had her 6th and 7th (twins) babies a few months ago and called the Ronnie and Reggie. I had to dig deep to maintain professional standards, when the child in my class announced the names of her new baby bothers.
