Jenny most definitely

Firebird83 · 01/05/2025 20:54

Agree. Definitely Jenny. It would be so cute and refreshing on a little girl.

AmateurNoun · 01/05/2025 20:54

I prefer Lucy

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 01/05/2025 20:57

I think definitely Lucy. Lovely name and I think of Narnia and Lucy Honeychurch.

sheknowsitstoolate · 01/05/2025 21:00

Lucy.

AliBaliBee1234 · 01/05/2025 21:00

Lucy

CreatorKate · 01/05/2025 21:01

Lucy! But both are cute

rhi4 · 01/05/2025 21:02

Jenny is a pretty name 😀

Notajogger · 01/05/2025 21:03

Jenny. Lucy at the moment makes me think Letby 😕

Raininginparadise2 · 01/05/2025 21:04

Lucy 🥰

BoleynMemories13 · 01/05/2025 21:11

Lucy is far more classic as a given name. Jenny is ok as a nn for Jennifer (although personally I prefer Jenna). Jenny, as a given name, is quite bland

Nunaluna · 01/05/2025 21:17

Neither, they’ll both be sort of granny ish and not in a good way. Sorry to sound mean but I was stuck with a granny name and I hate it. Some of the older ones have made a comeback and will be in common use but not these

Owlteapot · 01/05/2025 21:17

Lucy is much nicer

Jamclag · 01/05/2025 21:27

Love both but Jenny/Jennifer feels a bit fresher.

MLC27 · 01/05/2025 21:28

Jenny

really don’t like the name Lucy

Mandarinaduck · 01/05/2025 21:29

I prefer Lucy but they are both nice.

IsThePopeCatholic · 01/05/2025 21:36

Lucy. Jenny is boring.

17caterpillars1mouse · 01/05/2025 21:36

I would love to meet a little Jenny (or Jenna). Lucy is nice but I seem to know quite a few (8 year old, 3 5/6 years old, 2 3 year olds and a 5 month old)

Seaforme · 01/05/2025 21:37

Jenny is lovely, very cute.

GoodVibesHere · 01/05/2025 21:37

Lucy

Snugglemonkey · 01/05/2025 21:43

Lucy is a weird one for me. It seems to suit a young child, or an old lady, but not so much a woman having a career. Though neither does Jenny suit a 30 year old professional. Jennifer gives a broader scope.

HollyGolightly4 · 01/05/2025 21:46

Lucy.

I've always found Jennifer to be an unpleasant name! Reminds me of Lucifer. I don't mind Jenny but it isn't as classy as Lucy.

Apologies if any Jennifer's read this! I like you all individually 😂

Moreteaandchocolate · 01/05/2025 21:58

I love both - Lucy is one of my favourites, so pretty yet it’s a classic that suits all ages, and it’s not hugely dated to a particular era or overused. Easy to spell / pronounce too.

Jenny is quite dated but I adore it, and I think a little Jenny would be gorgeous 😊

I would pick Lucy by a small margin.

rosydreams · 01/05/2025 22:00

my daughter is called Jennifer and we call her jenny for short its a lovely classic

SeanMaguire · 01/05/2025 22:18

Love both. But I think a little Jenny would be more unusual and so lovely.
