Ideas for boy/girl twins?

Preferably a bit Celtic as our ds's have scottish names. Our surname ends in 'son' so unfortunately can't use ones like Madison which I know isn't Scottish but I like!
To be even more difficult, nothing beginning with C/E/F or K as I'll get too confused with the rest of us!

Clara and Rufus.

DforDiva, no, no-one can spell my boys' names right either and they're not that complicated!

I love Brodie, I wanted it last time actually as I think it means 2nd son? Think dp must have nixed it. Pointless getting excited as he'll so no to the entire list!

mumoftwo, you're right Oliver would go but ds1 has two friends called that. I often like a name but can't use it!

I love Sadie, my next baby will be called that if it's a girl and maybe even if it's a boy.
Also like Rohan and Isaac

crimplene · 22/05/2008 21:38

I love Stroma for a girl - sorry I don't have a boy's name in mind.

Nagashizzar · 23/05/2008 13:30

Dolly and Lloyd - they are anagrams of each other

not helpful at all but couldn't resist

My neighbors (she's Norwegian, he's French/Swiss) called their boy/girl twins Callou and Camille.

LenniEd · 24/05/2008 11:26

Half my family is scottish but they all seem to have really dated names so not sure I'll be any help, but one relative is called Jessie which I like. Lots of James' (which I also like) and a couple of Frasers. Isaac, which someone suggested is nice. I also like Isla. We are thinking about Bella for another girl too. Sounds like you've turned a corner

accessorizequeen · 24/05/2008 19:59

Lennied, Bella is lovely, my niece has it as her middle name

DP produced list last night of 6 names (Robbie, Bobby, Jamie, Thomas, Harriet and Cara) I'm not even sure that some of those were on here! I know quite a lot of Thomas's and Jamie's and not keen on Robbie & Bobby which are the same name essentially. Harriet will just be Harry and I will have 3 boys! I like Cara but prob. not enough to actually choose it, just doesn't seem to fit that well with the rest. Guess I'll start all over again. Found DP checking Star Wars name site rather than mumsnet last night, I am very suspicious of his choices from now on!)

Thanks for that, ooogs, I must come over! I'm due 1st Oct but it will be mid-sept at latest as they'll induce. I wasn't feeling positive enough to ask qu's until last week! Found out v.late (17 weeks, I'm now 21).

....don't you mean 4 boys AQ

TwoIfBySea · 25/05/2008 20:27

Funny that Niall was mentioned as that is the name of dts1 (dts2 is Adam, a name I would have considered too popular had it not been for the fact I love it and it has a special meaning for my dad.)

My dts1 is pronounced the Irish way - Ny-all - which is how we first heard it and started to like it. However in dts' school nursery there is another Niall but this time pronounced the Scottish way - just like Neil. Which would have been confusing for the nursery as they were used to my Niall.

It means champion, which I liked.

I spent ages trawling through this site and had pages of girls names but only a few boys names I liked!

Good luck AQ, it is great fun if a heck of a lot of hard work! (p.s. Cara Mia would mean 'my beloved' )
