Now I have the old Gary Glitter tune going around my head ... thanks, seeker

I like Ember but do appreciate the 'you can't spell Amber' aspect. It's pretty I think.

What about

Saffron
Flora
Iris

Emer
Eimer

I absolutely do want honesty, which is why I've bothered posting on here but I also need some constructive help if this poor babe is ever to have a name!! I'm not offended by any of the responses in the least . I was just vaguely hoping for a spot of help on the matter if said name fell upon great mirth (which it has).

I love the name Seren but unfortunately my cousin got in there first with his little girl. DH doesn't like Sorrel but I agree - that's also a great name.

I also quite like Sol and LOVE the name Lyra (another DH reject).

We were also wondering whether another plant/tree name would be on the naff side as we're not after a theme. It just happens that we liked the name Willow irrespective of it being a tree.

Now, Carpet......there's a thought .

Kindling is nice.

There was a woman called Kindle in one of my yoga classes.

And it was spelled just like that. I saw it written on her water bottle.

I think she's just boasting about the fact that she's been in to a gym.

Azur?

I have a relative-by-marriage called Azur, and she's just had a baby called Roméo.

Thankyouandgoodnight · 16/05/2008 12:18

That sounds far too glam for us!

Do you agree on any names with your DH?

expatinscotland · 16/05/2008 12:20

she was on the matt next to me, snora, AND she could go into full camel pose without using her hands at all, with her hands just in front of her in prayer position!

Thankyouandgoodnight · 16/05/2008 12:21

Not at the moment no - well, we did with Ember then I started to wonder, then posted on here to see if your responses were the same as my concerns and they are, so I'm happy with binning that now. We now have zero names that we can agree on.

Thankyouandgoodnight · 16/05/2008 12:23

Ah - is that the one where they heat you all up to one degree cooler than the sun and then expect you to twist and turn to olympic level and still have your eyes in at the end of it?

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 16/05/2008 12:23

like this:

camelpose

only this gal could put her hands in front of her and just roll backwards and touch the top of her head to her feet.
