Eleanor, Eloise or Rosalie?

Hello!

I was wondering which name gets the most ‘votes’ out of the three above?

Baby’s middle name(s) at present are likely to be Margot and/or Lily (names of beloved family members)

Eleanor is my favourite. Have you considered Rosalind?

Love Rosalie, like Eleanor, not quite sure about Eloise. I like it but I think it gets mispronounced a lot - it should really be el-oh-ise, not el-oo-ise, but it doesn't always come out that way. Rosalie Lily would be a lot of "li", but Rosalie Margot sounds quite good to me.

Schoolrefusa · 26/03/2025 21:56

Oh I love all three of your names! I would probably choose Rosalie but all sound lovely .

RuthW · 26/03/2025 22:01

I like Eloise and Rosalie.

I think there would be more of a problem with Rosalie (rosa-lee/ roz-a-lee)

never heard Eloise said El- loo- ise

Scutterbug · 26/03/2025 22:03

Rosalie is gorgeous. I like Roseanna too.

Emanwenym · 26/03/2025 22:04

Eleanor. Classic, elegant and not frilly.
The other two are too fussy.

Don't liked any of them much.
Rosina
Rosemary
Elena
Esmae
Louise/Louise
Leoni.

  1. Eloise
  2. Eleanor
  3. Rosalie

I would choose Eloise Lily :)

Hopealong · 26/03/2025 22:11

Eloise

Gundogday · 26/03/2025 22:12

Rosalie

yikesanotherbooboo · 26/03/2025 22:16

Eleanor
Rosalie
Eloise
I like both the first two , almost equally. I’m less of a fan of Eloise. I could add Rosa, Rosamund and Rosalind to the choices and probably overtake Eleanor as preferred choice.

LadyBlanche · 26/03/2025 22:17

All beautiful but favourite is Eloise.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr · 26/03/2025 22:18

Rosalie

My thoughts too! Plus Eloise seems quite trendy right now. I like Louise and Rose as alternatives.

Emelene · 26/03/2025 22:30

Eloise is my favourite and in my top 2!

Audiobook · 26/03/2025 22:39

I like Eleanor Margot
And although I’m normally a fan of alternative spellings I do like it spelled
Ellena

Normallynumb · 26/03/2025 22:49

Eloise
