Poppy!

ArmyBarbie · 05/03/2025 05:51

Poppy, definitely

SemperIdem · 05/03/2025 05:58

Billie.

I’ve never met a Poppy who hasn’t been deeply aggravating.

wonderingwhatsnext · 05/03/2025 06:01

Poppy

CorrectionCentre · 05/03/2025 06:02

Poppy

Heylylaa · 05/03/2025 06:29

Depends if you care about how common it is. I know sooo many little Poppy’s.

Emanwenym · 05/03/2025 07:38

Both are great, but I'd pick Billie because it's more unusual, and flower names are a bit too popular currently.

Poppy is classy, Billie isn’t

Mylittlebobble · 05/03/2025 08:01

I'd go for Billie.

Billie.

Agree, sorry to say 😬 think it starts with how the name sounds - impossible to say without sounding insufferable. Poh-pee… just sounds twee and superior.

ProfessionalWhimsicalSkidaddler · 05/03/2025 08:03

I don't like poppy. It's an eternally babyish name and is more like a sound than a name. Billie is a bit 80/90s. If you go for poppy, I'd make it a nickname for something like Philippa so she can be a grown up at some point.

rosequartz3 · 05/03/2025 08:06

Billie... I love that name for a girl 💕

BillyILash · 05/03/2025 08:26

The only Poppy I know at the moment is such a lovely little girl she’s been very supportive to my dd during some difficult times at school.

Its a popular name, but I think it’s so classic it’s a name that can get away with being popular.

I also know an adult Billie, named after Billie Holiday.

i think are both lovely and even though I prefer uncommon names I’m leaning towards Poppy.

SophiaSW1 · 05/03/2025 08:41

Billie is so dated

Goandygo · 05/03/2025 08:44

I like Poppy. Never liked Billie, Bobbie, etc
I like Pippa, Phillipa better.

Sal17690 · 05/03/2025 09:19

Poppy is pretty / bit twee. Same vibes for me as Summer / Skye / Willow.

Billie is funkier, fresher, maybe more try hard? Same vibes for me as Harper, Piper, Frankie.

MK19590 · 05/03/2025 09:20

Poppy

Billie makes me think Billie Eilish

Coffeeishot · 05/03/2025 09:23

Billie, Poppy Is fine but I think it's a bit dated, the Poppy's I know are older teenagers alongside the Lilly"s

BootballJoy · 05/03/2025 09:24

Billie. I've always found Poppy very twee.

NormasArse · 05/03/2025 09:25

I know a gorgeous adult Poppy.

Mylittlebobble · 05/03/2025 09:26

I always thought Stevie was cool. Like Stevie Nicks, but I wasn't brave enough for that name for my DD. I suppose the long name would be Stephanie.

desperatedaysareover · 05/03/2025 09:30

Billie all day

Also like Stevie as per @Mylittlebobble

Romy?

SnowFrogJelly · 05/03/2025 09:35

Poppy definitely

Scrubberdubber · 05/03/2025 09:41

Poppy 100%

Sorry but I can't stand when people lumber little girls with typical boys names
