Etta isn't nice. All the rest are lovely

lemonyellows · 16/01/2025 20:36

Clara. All the way

Liv999 · 16/01/2025 21:23

Definitely Clara so beautiful, followed by Eleanor, Evelyn is frumpy and Etta sounds unfinished,

lovemycbf · 16/01/2025 21:44

❤️ Clara

RogueFemale · 17/01/2025 00:17

I like Etta, but also how about Eloise.

Fromthebirdsnest · 18/01/2025 00:43

I have an Eleanor she's either ellie, nell or Nellie as a nickname .. I think it's gorgeous obviously I have a sophie too who we call Fifi x

ListenDontJudge · 18/01/2025 00:59

Love Etta.

I also have evalina on my list but my partner isnt as sure on it hes more traditional with names i have an elaia already and that was a push lol x

You can't have an Elaia and an Eleanor, they're way too similar. Clara and Evelyn are lively. Etta would be ok if shirt for Henrietta or similar, but as a standalone name it's not great (looks like ETA)

AutumnColours9 · 18/01/2025 02:28

I like Clara best.

Eleanor..you have to like Ellie or Elle
Clara..lovely and classic. Not too common.
Etta..lovely
Evelyn..nice name but have to like Eve

Areolaborealis · 18/01/2025 02:43

Clara is my favourite.

Please no more Ellies and Evies - we're oversaturated.

Anything with Etta reminds me of a pantomime dame. It sounds like 'ate a' which is fodder for bullying especially if she's chubby.

Theextraordinaryisintheordinary · 18/01/2025 02:46

Clara is gorgeous. Lovely to pronounce

mathanxiety · 18/01/2025 02:47

I really love Clara.

Theextraordinaryisintheordinary · 18/01/2025 02:48

Clara is a lovely old name, strong but feminine

Abbiepriestman · 18/01/2025 11:19

Definitely think its clara followed by evelyn but do think maybe we will wait until she born ? Or 4d scan or something but swaying more towards clara !

Clara Evelyn is lovely.

NamingBee · 18/01/2025 11:47

Love love love Clara Isobel and like Evelyn Lily.

I don’t think Clara Evelyn or Evelyn Clara work particularly well together, they don’t flow well IMO. If you did want to use both though I think Clara Evelyn is the better of the two.

TinyMouseTheatre · 18/01/2025 12:35

Clara Josephine gets my vote Wink

GreenTeaLikesMe · 18/01/2025 14:46

Clara, for sure.

Moreteaandchocolate · 18/01/2025 15:02

I love Clara Sofia 😊

nancyastor · 18/01/2025 15:10

I love Eleanor. I'd give the nickname Nell/Nellie to a baby and then there's the option of Ellie if they want something more grown up in the teen years - with a beautiful classic name always available.

I like etta

fairytailcat · 18/01/2025 15:32

Eleanor. I like Nell for short

fairytailcat · 18/01/2025 15:33

If you live in the south, avoid Etta or names with t in the middle

Eh-ah or Ettt-arr

TishHope · 18/01/2025 15:35

What about the name 'June'? Old fashioned enough to be cool again.
