Currently 16 weeks with twins. Don’t know the sexes yet. Need some inspiration. What would you call yours?

I love SJP’s names for her twins: Tabitha and Marion

or Hannah and Rebecca

Boys? I think my actual sons’ names, Alec and Theo(dor) would be perfect. ☺️

Or Rex and Otis

CheatingMenz · 13/08/2024 12:32

Paul and Barry of course, if they're boys.

I wouldn’t give them names I was just called them the twins because after all they are practically the same person…

theveryhungrybum · 13/08/2024 12:38

I have twins and know lots of families with twins (due to being in a multiple births group). Please, please, please don't name them something cutesy. Pick two unrelated names that you like.

Fraaahnces · 13/08/2024 12:40

My twins turn 18 on Thurs. When I am not referring to them as “The Ferrets”, I call them this…

Lifeinlists · 13/08/2024 12:44

Most important thing is give them names you like, as you would any babies. Not matchy and not the same initials, but avoid one very ordinary and one out there eg Luke and Ptolemy.

gillybombilly · 13/08/2024 12:46

Adam and Alexandra
Simeon and Phoebe

SurpriseTwinPregnancy · 13/08/2024 12:47

Don’t worry, I’m not planning on giving them cutesy/matching names or names with the same initials. But I do think they need to work together.

Naming twins is no different than naming your first two children. Twins are just two individual children, not a set. Some of the posts on here are just ridiculous.

I have twins and called them
Two names that I liked. They are individual people.

I agree with this, don't go for twiny themed names... i went to school with twins called Andy and Andie (Andrew and Andrea). They always got lumped together.
Boys names i love are Raphael and Laurence and girls Sophia and Claudette.
