That you liked?

I was just thinking of girls and women that I've met over the years, that had unusual names, that I liked.

I've met these people
Johanna
Dina
Persephone
Saffron
Sherryanne
Bronwyn
Gaia -
sweet little girl I used to babysit

Tudur is an often-used Welsh name, might it have been that?

No, I just found him on Facebook and his name is definitely Tudor!

Some lovely names on here! Almost makes me want to try for another DC 🤣

My brother goes to church with a family who have a Zephyr (m), Jessamine (f) and Gabrielle (f), which I think are all lovely.

I've also met a Clover (f), Button (m) and Messiah (!! m) - not all in the same family - which I'm less keen on 🥴

I was at school with a Candida, I don't think it was considered bad in the 80s. Pretty sure there was a 70s pop song called Candida.

Also had people at school called Inigo, Orlando, Cinnamon and Portia.

Some other names on here are quite normal - Polly, India, Amber, Jocelyn (male & female).

The keyboard player in Pulp is a Candida.

Vashti is a biblical name, the Queen of Persia in the Book of Esther.

Often used in Romany families. My granny was Vashti. Two of her sisters were called Mary, for no apparent reason.

I’m deeply envious you had a granny called Vashti.
