I was just thinking of girls and women that I've met over the years, that had unusual names, that I liked.

Not someone I ever met, but I came across an Armistice (male) whilst I was researching my family history. Unsurprisingly he was born in the Winter of 1918.

Ronnianna, which I have never met since and an Annatasha which seems to be common on the Internet but I only met one.

I worked with one, pronounced Ada. Unfortunately I am a cross stitcher and it is THE most common fabric to stitch on, and pronounced Eye-ee-da.

Luckily she left as I really struggled...

A 16 year old Doris 20 years ago, so before older names become fashionable.

I know a family whose kids are named Atlanta, September, Tiger Lily, Gypsy and Duran. Two grandkids now called Pixie Promise and Autumn Dream.

I was at school with a Candida, I don't think it was considered bad in the 80s. Pretty sure there was a 70s pop song called Candida.

Also had people at school called Inigo, Orlando, Cinnamon and Portia.

Some other names on here are quite normal - Polly, India, Amber, Jocelyn (male & female).
