Hi. Can I have your opinions on Lucius please. For a boy

I like the way it sounds and looks.

Hard no, sorry. Too "luscious" sounding and too similar to Lucifer. I can imagine kids at school calling him Luscious Lucius, although it would be a fabulous moniker if he became a wrestler, boxer or exotic male dancer.

I love it! But the Harry Potter connection is too strong for me.

He'll get called Lucy. Not that that's a bad thing

It's a great name, and I doubt kids would call him luscious Lucius. Maybe Lit Lucius in today's language.

I taught a Lucius - most kids called
Him Lu.

I like it, but my only issue is pronunciation -- LOO-shus vs LUCY-us.

It sounds like an evil name to me - I think Malfoy and Lucifer. Agree Lucas is better or Lucian at a push (as long as you’re happy with him being called Lucy). Julian, Marcus or Marius maybe if you’re looking for Roman-inspired names?
