Hi. Can I have your opinions on Lucius please. For a boy

I love it.

I wanted to call my son Lucius (because of the HP link!). DH vetoed sadly.

We did go for a Harry Potter name but because its also a very common name, no one makes the link. And I don't think the character was ever in the films, only very briefly in the books.

Yes, that's my thought. It's not my choice, but close family member's. I haven't said a word as not my child and therefore not my choice, but wondered what others would think. Thanks everyone

I wouldn't mainly because of Harry Potter personally (but perhaps that's because i grew up with it). I named my cat Lucius, but wouldn't have given it to a son.

I like it, but I also like Lucian, which is probably a safer choice.

No... Too many sssss sounds for me. Just too much of a mouthful.

Plus the Harry Potter connection is strong.
