Any thoughts?

Honestly? I hate it.

thanKyouaIMee · 10/05/2024 20:31

Jackson seems quite American to me, Jaxon I'm not the biggest fan of - seems a bit like a product name perhaps?

Comedycook · 10/05/2024 20:31

Very much dislike

ApolloandDaphne · 10/05/2024 20:31

Don't like it at all. If you need to use Jackson.

caitlinsjoy · 10/05/2024 20:32

I don’t mind Jackson but I just don’t like this spelling at all. It seems very popular - as is Jaxson.

MrsSkylerWhite · 10/05/2024 20:32

Sorry, it’s a no from me.

Muffin101 · 10/05/2024 20:33

If you absolutely must, Jackson. Jaxon just looks absolutely ridiculous.

Lovinglife57 · 10/05/2024 20:33

Nope …how about Noah

Bambinomino · 10/05/2024 20:33

Awful chav name.

Rowen32 · 10/05/2024 20:33

😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

Pashazade · 10/05/2024 20:34

Nope, just looks like you can't spell or are trying to be American.

dreamfield · 10/05/2024 20:34

Too much like claxon.

So much like claxon in fact that I didn't make any connection to Jackson until I read pp's comments.

No from me.

SD1978 · 10/05/2024 20:35

Highly dislike. Sorry!

Yennefer19 · 10/05/2024 20:35

I really love this name but my DD has 3 in her class so it’s very popular name if this is an issue for you

ALittleBitAhAh · 10/05/2024 20:36

I know a Jaxon. Everyone calls him Jax. Suits him! He's 13.

bradpittsbathwater · 10/05/2024 20:36

Awful!

User284732 · 10/05/2024 20:40

It's extremely popular, so I wouldn't worry about people thinking it unusual, I've met at least 5. I prefer Jackson.

justmyluck1234 · 10/05/2024 20:42

I'm going to go against the latter here... I really like the name. (Mumsnet definitely doesn't on the other hand 😂)

RaininSummer · 10/05/2024 20:45

Not keen. Didn't even realize it was meant to sound like Jackson as I kind of said it as 'jacks on'. I do like Jax however so Jackson known as Jax seems good .

Glitterbiscuits · 10/05/2024 20:46

Spelled Jackson is better.
The one I know is Jaxson. X and S.

IncompleteSenten · 10/05/2024 20:46

It's not the worst I've heard. Do you love it?

Sunnnybunny72 · 10/05/2024 20:49

Bad

Charlie2121 · 10/05/2024 20:50

Absolutely appalling chav name. Wouldn’t look out of place in a Vicky Pollard sketch.

Toddlerteaplease · 10/05/2024 20:50

Awful and very common now. We get at least one a week at work. Not as bad as Jaxxon though.

skippy67 · 10/05/2024 20:52

No, don't like it at all.
