Originally going to be called Jim after my granddad, but we've found out we're having a girl. Would this work?

NO!

TheCultureHusks · 29/04/2024 13:36

This is even better than the Hugo thread

How about Jimobel or Jimoline?

Jimolene sounds like a cream for something sore. Not as bad as Anusolalina as a name but not great either.

godmum56 · 29/04/2024 13:37

FearYeTheDeadlyBisonAndItsToxicYogurt · 29/04/2024 13:38

Uberina or Minicaba, then.

Taxita. Got a bit of a Mexican vibe.

We were considering Hughetta....but it didn't go well with our surname which is All-da-Pies....

OP is probably exhausted by GCSE revision.

Maverickess · 29/04/2024 13:42

This is a wind up right? 😳

Jimberley........ Just no.

Jemima is the female version of James isn't it? Which Jim is short for? Or Jemma? What's wrong with that?

AngelinaFibres · 29/04/2024 13:42

Skiphopbump · 29/04/2024 11:33

JimALynn has a lovely ring to it.

'Get extra shiny windows with just a squirt of Jimalynn'.

LikeTalkingToLassie · 29/04/2024 13:47

@Maverickess , "Jemima is the female version of James isn't it?" No.

Kindly, it’s a no from me.

Coramac · 29/04/2024 13:55

I'm not sure if you're joking when suggesting Jimberley. I can't stop laughing.

I had a great aunt called Jina. Her full name was Jamesina.

Lakeyloo · 29/04/2024 13:57

I thought this was going to be a post about a new celebrity couple...... like Brangelina or Bennifer. Brilliant !

Ellie1015 · 29/04/2024 13:59

You could use James or grandfathers surname (if different to baby) as a middle name?

Jimberly is not great in my opinion.

ImCamembertTheBigCheese · 29/04/2024 14:03

I thought it was the name of a celebrity couple like Bennifer.

unsurebut · 29/04/2024 14:07

"She left him for a taxi driver" has finished me off 😂😂😂😂

merrymelodies · 29/04/2024 14:07

We considered that but I think it's spelt : Jemima

You actually replied this to a comment after originally suggesting to call your kid Jimberly.

Jesus.

Nooooo! Just no. Please don't saddle your poor child with that.

Either go with Jemima or something else entirely.

neverknowinglyunreasonable · 29/04/2024 11:16

If this is an honest question I feel I must give an honest response. I find the name Jimberly hilarious and cannot stop laughing.
