Which of these do you prefer for a baby girl?

Other options are Wendy or Amanda.

Talipesmum · 09/03/2024 23:07

Deborah (Debbie), Michelle or Amanda.

salamithumbs · 09/03/2024 23:09

Deborah! I think Kimberley and Michelle are quite nice as well, not that fond of Amanda and really dislike Wendy

SkaneTos · 09/03/2024 23:10

Deborah. Beautiful name!

Zwicky · 09/03/2024 23:12

in order
Deborah
Michelle

Like these much more than the others

Kimberly (not keen but like Kim)
Amanda (not keen on Mandy)
Wendy (bit it’s a bit of a name to describe someone, like Karen, so I wouldn’t use)

LaviniasBigBloomers · 09/03/2024 23:20

You forgot Laura, Louise, and Lesley.

MaloneMeadow · 09/03/2024 23:21

Is this a wind up?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 10/03/2024 00:07

Michelle.

theduchessofspork · 10/03/2024 00:11

Are you living in 1965?

Deborah if you must

Marcipex · 10/03/2024 00:12

Deborah or Amanda.

Wow I didn't realise there'd be so much love for Deborah! I think my favourite is Kimberley. But Michelle is also pretty. I prefer the French version of Amanda Amandine but we're not French.

I would say Michelle but I dislike all of them, sorry. I can understand why PP thinks this is a wind up.

I work with a Wendy and she hates her name.

Copperas · 10/03/2024 06:16

Donald Trump thinks Kimberley is a really elegant name. Deborah for me.

BCBird · 10/03/2024 06:20

All very dated?

GoodVibesHere · 10/03/2024 06:25

I can't imagine a baby in 2024 with any of those names.

Mumofone2024 · 10/03/2024 06:26

Tbh they’re all very old fashioned and I’m not a fan of any. If I had to pick one it would be Kimberley

KERALA1 · 10/03/2024 06:28

Everytime I hear the name Deborah in my head I sing the song from them year 2000 pulp song “her name was Deborah. It never suited her”

TrínaCheile · 10/03/2024 06:33

yeah if I had to pick one it would be Deborah. It’s elegant.
laura and Louise/louisa always beautiful too

Canweaffordkids · 10/03/2024 06:38

Deborah - I really like that it’s not a cutesy name, it’s a grown woman’s name. You can then shorten it while she’s little to Deb or Debs. Name fashions change and there always have to be some cool early adopters of a name to bring it back. 😎

Moreteaandchocolate · 10/03/2024 06:39

Wendy - I really like this name, I’d love to see it come back into fashion

Michelle is nice as I really like Shelley for short.

I also quite like Kimberley as Kimmy is lovely for a child, and Kim is fine for an adult.

Deborah - not keen on Debbie
Amanda - not keen on Mandy

HuntingoftheSnark · 10/03/2024 06:42

Deborah - my sister's name and she's never been Debbie or Deb to anyone. She's nearly 66 and it's a name you don't hear much these days but I think lovely.

pambeesleyhalpert · 10/03/2024 06:59

I know a 2 year old Wendy. It's bizarre. Sorry op not a fan of any of these
