Which of these do you prefer for a baby girl?

In all seriousness, none of these would be my first choice and seem dated BUT your child's name has nothing to do with me... I think Dorothy is classic but like that it can be shortened to 'Dot' or 'Dotty' so my vote would go to that.

None to my taste, and I didn't like them in the 80s either so it's not a fashion thing. I do love Lisa though which is of the same vintage. Also Claire. And Hayley.

Have we all woken up in 1971? They are very dated names with unattractive diminutive forms eg Debbie, Mandy. Perhaps look at something more classic. You mentioned you like Laura. Maybe Elizabeth, Catherine, Annabel type names.

I know a 2 year old Wendy as well. She is named after her, sadly too soon, deceased Grandmother. So not that bizarre.

Are they all back? They were the names of the girls just finishing sixth form as I was starting seniors. No opinion on the names, but I'm that old now things are coming back!
