Maybe if it wasn't such a trend for shortish L names to be popular I'd find them much nicer. In themselves they are OK. I have friends called Lucy, Laura and Leila and like the names but the names of our other friends are quite different so they don't seem so run-of-the-mill.

I met a Luna yesterday. Couldn't stop thinking about the cars I've met with that name. Seemed silly on child.

In contrast I love it.

Never had a girl though. The first Luna I heard of was about 20 odd years ago but I think it's more commonly a Spanish name.

I think most names are of an era tbh. Otherwise go classic Royal Family.
