Dh suggested it, I can't make up my mind if I like it or not.

I like it

MissingMoominMamma · 01/03/2024 10:00

I love it!

Overtheatlantic · 01/03/2024 10:01

Love it!

FriendlyNeighbourhoodAccountant · 01/03/2024 10:03

I'm in the minority it seems, I don't like the way it sounds.

chocolateforthewin · 01/03/2024 10:03

As the proud owner of the name Felicity, I think its lovely.

It takes some time to grow into and along the way you get all sorts of nicknames - Fliss, Flick, Flea, Fly. I am now Felicity at work, Fliss to friends and Flissy to family.

If you like the name then its a good one to go with and fairly unusual. I think I have only met one or two others.

Zola1 · 01/03/2024 10:08

I like it and I think Fliss is so cute, don't really like Flick as a nickname

erikbloodaxe · 01/03/2024 10:09

Absolutely favourite name.

oldnorsesaga · 01/03/2024 10:10

I love Felicity

WellThisIsFun1 · 01/03/2024 10:12

Love it.

Felicity Jayne was what I wanted to change my name to when I was a kid!

chicke09 · 01/03/2024 10:13

It's a beautiful name

PricklyBob · 01/03/2024 10:14

It's my favourite ever name and if I'd had a daughter, I would definitely have used it.

FabFebHalfTerm · 01/03/2024 10:14

I really like it. If it was my name I'd use it like @chocolateforthewin does.

marshmallowfinder · 01/03/2024 10:15

I think it sounds prissy and not at all nice.

marshmallowfinder · 01/03/2024 10:15

I think it sounds prissy and not at all nice.

For no explicable reason I also think it sounds prissy and smug!

Riverlee · 01/03/2024 10:21

Really nice. Everyone knows it, it’s not over popular, but it’s not weird or wacky.

munchmagic · 01/03/2024 10:24

I love the name Felicity. My husband loved it too and wanted to use it when we found out we were having a girl. Unfortunately it does not sound nice in our local accent and I knew that would bug me and him, so we went with something else. But it really is a very pretty name and we loved the meaning very much.

Rosesanddaisies1 · 01/03/2024 10:24

I think it's lovely but I am not sure I like 'Fliss' as a short version

NoSnowdrop · 01/03/2024 10:26

Yes it’s a lovely name and like PP said not too out there yet quite unusual.

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 01/03/2024 10:27

It’s a lovely name. It mean happiness and good fortune, which I wish for your daughter.

DiscoBeat · 01/03/2024 10:27

I love Felicity. And Fliss too.

WaitingForMojo · 01/03/2024 10:28

I love it.

CroccyWoccy · 01/03/2024 10:29

It was our choice had we had a girl. I liked the range of nicknames available.

DarlingClementine85 · 01/03/2024 10:33

To be honest I don't like it. It sounds a little fussy and the nicknames aren't attractive. The Felicitys I know are Flick, Flea and Floss. All of those are nouns for unpleasant things in my mind.

monty09 · 01/03/2024 10:35

It's a beautiful name, I have a felicity, family call her flick friends call her fliss.
