Opinion on name Atholl?

What everyone's opinion here on the name Atholl? It's just been suggested to me as an option for baby boy due in a few weeks. We are both Scottish but live in Newzeland. Not sure if the name would be a bit odd especially if out with Scotland.

Ewan is a lovely name OP. Congratulations. I know an Atholl. He's a bit of a prick so I'm surprised I never made the asshole connection but I have now so thank you for this thread 😆. It's definitely pronounced Ath ol not ath el like a pp said or at least that's what everyone called this one
