THe jolly hockey sticks Cordelia got me thinking......

I knew, growing up, a very posh Annabel, Amelia and Beatrice.

All names that could be used by anybody these days. Imogen is another one that was ouch posh when I was about 12.

So what is posh now? Clemency? Tuppence?

it's not a common as it used to be, but you still hear it.

the only 'hanks' i ever knew were all fine, too .

benedict just reminds me of Latin America - lots of males called that. it's a saint's name.

Orlando, because of Orlando Bloom probably. I know 3 and only one is posh. Also Regan is quite popular round here(definately a non posh area).

I have a friend with a Harry who is shortened to Hal Hatrick (he's prob about 6 or 7).

i know a family where the (now grown up) children are called..

(sons) tarquin, crispin, piers and (daughter) candida.
