Xanthippe was Socrates' wife.

He hated her.

Well I wouldn't call my son "Dick", but Dick Cheney parents thought otherwise and it never stopped him from making it to US Vice President post. Why "Olive" is deemed an acceptable and even tasteful name, but "Apple" is not? I will never understand that.

He was born in 1941. His parents named him "Richard Bruce Cheney".

Lots of Richards were called "Dick" for short - including my 70 year old brother.

Said child never materialised, but I did have a friend with the surname Eyre (pronounced “Air”) who was adamant her favourite boys name was Ryan. We did have to sit her down and explain why it wasn’t really a good choice with her current surname. She was genuinely mortified that it hadn’t occurred to her 🤣🤣

Do you mean 'Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei'
HTH

What's your point? It certainly wasn't from Ignaz. The Nazi government certainly did refer to themselves as Nazionalsozialisten, Nazi is the way that was abbreviated abroad.
