Penny or Pearl?

In agony over choosing a name for my second DD! We've gone though thousands of possibilities and have whittled it down to two options, both with the middle name Rae.

Penny Rae
Pearl Rae

Which would you choose?!

Pearl, because Penny Rae sounds too much like Penny Lane!

I love both, but Pearl is a bit different and quite adorable.

I much prefer Pearl.

Penny for me, Pearl is too dated I think

Rae is a surname but is a filler middle name.
Pearl has a nice meaning but I don't like the sound.
Penny is OK short for Penelope but is dull otherwise.

Love both but Penny Rae rolls off the tongue better.

Pearl Rae is more awkward with too many vowels - Pearl contains Rae spelled backwards.

Pearl but think she needs a longer middle name.

Penny is a bit twee. Rae is try-hard.

we like nnn in the middle because it’s a family name.
Why is it that the filler middle name is always a family name? it's not like Rae Rose, May/Mae have been popular names in the past.

I like Penny, OP. I've always found Pearl to be a bit hard sounding.

Penny is short for Penelope.

but i dont love penelope. maybe i should start over 😂

I like the name Penny, I also love Polly. Really don’t like Pearl, no idea why!

I prefer Penny

Polly is great. Penny seems a bit plain but is ok. Pearl makes me think of Purl.
