James and not gonna say for DS2 as someone might recognise me!

MargotBamborough · 13/10/2023 09:56

Not going to say what the names are but they have two each, one from each side of the family.

My DS has my dad's name and DH's grandfather's name.
My DD has my MIL's name and my middle name.

FayCarew · 13/10/2023 11:06

Perestroika and Glasnost

SneezyEvie · 13/10/2023 17:47

Won’t say as outing but both have fairly uncommon, four syllable middle names. Both DDs have top 100 first names so we didn’t want ‘filler’ middles.

Steev · 13/10/2023 17:55

Blue, Tuppence and Orinoco

PerspiringElizabeth · 13/10/2023 17:57

Boy version of my name, great grandfather’s name, and modernised/more out-there version of great grandmother’s name. (3 separate kids!)

anonymousbob · 13/10/2023 17:59

Our oldest has her dads moms name as her middle name (paternal nan).
Then our youngest has her paternal nans mums name as she passed just before she was born.
I have no family, and I felt it was important that they had links to their family.

IamChipmunk · 13/10/2023 18:01

DS - Andrew after my Dad
DD - Willow just because we liked it

Pinkshoppingbag · 13/10/2023 18:01

Both our fathers names.

RandomUsernameHere · 13/10/2023 18:09

DH's first name and a random boring name that I've completely gone off

Notellinganyone · 13/10/2023 18:21

Lucy, Felix and David. Two family names and one chosen by DD.

Rowgtfc72 · 13/10/2023 18:31

May. Middle name of both great grandma's.

Libmama · 13/10/2023 18:33

Ds 1 has a middle name that was between that and his first name. Couldn’t decide which one I preferred so had one as his first name and one as his middle name the way round that flowed best with surname.

ds2 s middle name is DP’s middle name

dd1 has my maternal grandmothers name as a middle name and her initials spell the name of my paternal grandmother which was by accident but I love it.

Snippit · 13/10/2023 18:38

Clarice, my husband enjoyed Silence of the Lambs film at the time and liked the name 🤷‍♀️ My daughter would like it for her first name, she loves it.

spanieleyes · 13/10/2023 18:44

Eldest son has his fathers middle name which is also his grandfathers first name ( on his dad's side) Youngest has my surname before I married but adapted to be a middle name ( think- Peters to Peter - but not that!)

CheesusWept · 13/10/2023 18:45

Christina, after my gran.

Mybestusername · 13/10/2023 18:48

Balonz Biscuit

Paddingtonthebear · 13/10/2023 18:49
