Sorry if this post has already been done but I'm interested to know which names are most common in your child's class and what year they are in.
My LG is in year 1 and the most common girls name is Ruby and the most common boys names are Jack and Oliver.

I work in a tiny school but there are multiple Mia's

SemperIdem · 12/10/2023 21:17

Y4 - Sophia (various spellings) and Amelia for the girls

Don’t think there are actually any double ups for the boys. There aren’t many of them in the class, it’s very girl heavy.

Mumaway · 12/10/2023 21:18

Inaya/Anaya, 4 of them in one class. All the boys have different names. Other DD has 3 izzies

Year 6- class of 30, 5 Georges! No duplicate girls though. I actually really like all of the names in my DDs class.

TheDuchessOfMN · 12/10/2023 21:27

Harry, Evan, Theo, Jack, William. So many of each of those.

Mia, Charlotte, Amelia/Millie

I met a baby Amy yesterday. I remember so many baby Amys 15-30 years ago, but hadn’t come across any since

There are no duplicates in their classes strangely enough!

I work with a lot of teens though and every other girl is called Lily

AnonGCMum · 12/10/2023 21:35

I’ve been surprised to find that there are no duplicates in DD’s year group, even across both classes. There’s still sometimes confusion though as there are several similar sounding pairs - Leo/Leon, Lola/Nola, Isla/Nylaa.

There are a few duplicate names at youngest DD’s nursery - at least two Connies and I think three Edies.

TheNameIsDickDarlington · 12/10/2023 21:36

Year 6: Isabelle/a and various variations of it. Boys it would be Jack and Harry.

Reception: Sophia and Thomas.
