Kinvara or Kerensa?

Or any similar suggestions?

Doesn’t have to start with K, these are just two we like. I also liked Saskia but DH thinks she’ll be called Sassy for short.

OP posts:

Kinelle ----

(No, don't).

I think Sassy is better than either of your suggestions.

Berlinlover · 20/08/2023 08:30

Both awful, sorry.

MrsMoastyToasty · 20/08/2023 08:30

Kerenza, although I prefer Carenza.

Doidontimmm · 20/08/2023 08:31

They sound made up

Floppyfrog · 20/08/2023 08:32

Neither.

Katherine?

LemongrassLollipop · 20/08/2023 08:32

Karina

Not keen on those two

N4ish · 20/08/2023 08:32

Neither of those.

cuckyplunt · 20/08/2023 08:32

Both horrific!
Carenza is bearable, if you must.

Berlinlover · 20/08/2023 08:30

Both awful, sorry.

Solasum · 20/08/2023 08:34

Kira/Keira

Seren

Tamara

Lilithlogic · 20/08/2023 08:34

Karenza is lovely, I'm sure it's Cornish and means love, though she may end up with Karry as a nickname.

BlueMoe · 20/08/2023 08:35

Kinvara after the place? That would be OK-ish.

Constance, Katherine, Kilburn?

GlitteryFarts · 20/08/2023 08:36

Karrelle?

Freshpanic · 20/08/2023 08:39

Kerensa is a nice name - it means love in Cornish I think.

I've also always liked Keturah, which has a similar sound (have seen it spelled Ketura previously).

geminiflanagan · 20/08/2023 08:41

Kerenza. I knew a few growing up in Cornwall, it wasn't unusual and I thought it was lovely. Also quite a few Morwennas which might be along the same vibe?

Freshpanic · 20/08/2023 08:41

Not a K name, but I wonder if Mallory is your cup of tea? Seems to have a similar feel to the ones you've longlisted.

Iclyn · 20/08/2023 08:41

I've only ever seen Kerenza , nn Kerry.

ImGoingThroughChanges · 20/08/2023 08:43

What about Kerosine?

Borris · 20/08/2023 08:44

Kerenza. Lovely Cornish mane and all the ones I know are lovely!

Riapia · 20/08/2023 08:45

Calamari.

Coffeeandcakemum · 20/08/2023 08:47

I like Kerensa 😊 it's a lovely name!

Other options you might like could be Carina, Demelza, Kenza, Lowenna, Senara

Gnomegnomegnome · 20/08/2023 08:49

I know a few Kerensa’s. They are all awful. It’s like calling someone Karen.

Lagershandy · 20/08/2023 08:52

There is a private hospital group called Kinvara, so no.

viques · 20/08/2023 08:53

Be bold and brave and reclaim Karen.

You could sparkle it up a bit by spelling it Karenne.

frippu · 20/08/2023 08:55

I knew a Kinvara & there's a posh once who used to be in Tatler.

Kerensa is lovely.
