Lucy or Hazel

I'm torn between both of these names. Lucy because it's sweet, youthful, classic. Hazel because it's feminine but strong, classic but slightly uncommon (I accept that it might not stay uncommon), and nature inspired.

What do you think? Thanks

Hazel for sure. Lots of Lucy's around, Hazel is sweet and autumnal. Love it!

Both lovely names!! I think I’d lean towards Lucy but you can’t go wrong with either choice.

Hazel I think. Or Heather feels like it's sort of in between in feel to me.

Don't make your choice based on popularity. Hazel is #147 and could easily jump into the top 100 and Lucy is #85 and could easily slip out. Imagine that both Lucy and Hazel are in the top 5 and ask yourself which you prefer. Which can you imagine calling in a park? Which can you imagine on a teen and adult? Both lovely!

Hazel but I am biased as it’s my mums name. I grew up not giving it much thought but I now realise it’s such a lovely name, wish I’d given it as a middle name to dd.

I'm almost 50-50 but my vote goes to Lucy - very classic and timeless.

I like them both. I would choose Lucy. It's popular because it is so lovely.

Lucy, but it's popular along. Lots of L names are currently popular. Hazel seems quite fresh in comparison.
