If you like the name Jude, call her Judith. Then use that as a nickname.

@Mostlyoblivious , Jude is not "a boys name"! It is a boy's name.
@Inkypot , Courtney Cox and Cherry Healey both have daughters named Coco.
I don't think that the names of celebrities' offspring always works for ordinary people's DC.

A fair point. And you've just made me remember Courtney Cox's daughter was named Coco from the first two letters of Courtney's first and last names!
I do love the name though, don't even know what it is about it but I really love it.

or Judy/Judi, which is quite nice

Bibi coco bonnie may be very cutesy on a baby, but she won't always be a baby.

Give her a name that's going to last an adult lifetime.

Juno, Marnie or Alma are by far my favourites. Sorry I'm not keen on the farm others

FayCarew · 19/07/2023 19:06

@Inkypot , I was thinking something like CC's daughter was probably likely to be blessed with good looks and a privileged background, wheras a CocoCarew might be a rather plain from a deprived area. Cherry's from a privileged background and is easy on the eye.

Thea is really nice, not sure I would like the others as a name as an adult x

I know a Bibi, it means love in Arabic which is beautiful and is also popular in certain cultures. I really like Thea, also I like Phoebe (if you’re going for Goddess themed names) I like Juniper, which could be shortened to Juno. I know a Maia (for a different spelling) but it’s not really my taste. Marnie is nice, so is Nori (shortened from Eleanor). You have to think of the name with the surname and just imagine them older and going for an interview and just introducing themselves throughout their lives. I’m also not a fan of Coco, I nearly called my dog that a few years back but saying no coco sounded so silly!

Bibi could be short for Habibi, which is 'My love'/'my darling' in Arabic. Not sure it's an arabic name.

Habibi is a saying rather than a name and anyway would an Arabic name fit with the Op's cultural heritage.

I didn't say it was a name, @Ohyousillydivvy , although i think it can be a surname.
