Thea and Marnie

Fivebeanchilli · 18/07/2023 21:37

Thea - gorgeous. Seems to be becoming quite popular but it's lovely.
Coco - sorry but I can't bear this. Seems so juvenile
Bonnie - not keen.
Bibi - don't like at all
Alma - don't like at all
Jude - like as a nn for Judith but not a stand alone name
Maya - lovely
Juno - lovely
Marnie - not keen

Thea, Maya and Juno are lovely. I see them as classy whereas the others... not so much.

I really like Maya, Thea and Marnie, the others are a bit faddy or cutesy to me.

Agree with this.

Pops6 · 18/07/2023 21:40

I love Thea. I’ve got 2 boys but if I were to ever have a daughter I’d have Thea

FrostieBoabby · 18/07/2023 21:42

Sorry, not really keen on any of them, nothing wrong with them though but I'm maybe a few years older than you and more old fashioned! Jude would be my favourite but I would worry about "Hey Jude" piss taking at school.

Not keen on Bonnie even though it is a lovely Scottish name as it makes me think of Bonnie Langford, what about Connie instead?

Marshatessa · 18/07/2023 21:47

Thea! Jude more boys name at min

Hollyppp · 18/07/2023 22:00

I like Bonnie!!

jude is a boys name

drunkpeacock · 18/07/2023 22:03

I like Maya and Juno from that list.

TomatoSandwiches · 18/07/2023 22:08

I had a dog called Bonnie, her farts were horrendous, you'd often have to leave the room.

OsirisservesAnubis · 18/07/2023 22:16

Juno, Thea or Marnie.

Jude is a boy's name unless shortening Judith day to day.

Soozy58 · 18/07/2023 22:17

Definitely different taste here - the only one that I like is Thea. I always try and imagine whether the name would be ok on an older person too. Jude & Juno to me are boys’ names.

DanceMumTaxi · 18/07/2023 22:22

I’ve never come across a Bonnie before (and been teaching for 17 years), but I know 3 born this year.

DanceMumTaxi · 18/07/2023 22:23

Thea is my favourite from your list.

Fredflinstoneswife · 18/07/2023 22:23

I'm not keen on Coco, isn't Coco a character on Bing? Would you want to be called Coco?

Really like Alma. Thea is very common now I think, but it is lovely.

Allyliz · 18/07/2023 22:29

June and Bonnie are cute...I like Nancy and Ada too.

SomethingNastyInTheGenePool · 18/07/2023 22:30

Coco, Bonnie and Bibi are a beautiful trio of bichon frises.

gonetogreece · 18/07/2023 22:36

I like Maya and Bibi.
I think the little girl in kill Bill is called Bibi,

CurlewKate · 18/07/2023 22:44

Juno

Always think about her as a teenager, a kick ass lawyer and an old lady. Then eliminate the names that don't work.

gjg · 18/07/2023 22:58

Thea, Juno and Marnie

gjg · 18/07/2023 23:00

But as Theo and Theodore are so popular just Juno and Marnie, lovely names .

Jackonary · 19/07/2023 00:34

I like Thea, Juno, Coco and Judith.

Mostlyoblivious · 19/07/2023 01:03

Jude is not "a boys name"! Judah is the male which is shortened to Jude and Judith is the female and has been shortened to Jude for girls since the 1600’s! Jude Law has clearly made quite the impact 😂

Pick what you like and when you see your baby you’ll know what does and doesn’t suit them. We didn’t pick a name for three weeks after our baby was born!

Italiangreyhound · 19/07/2023 01:22

Thea, Juno, or Marnie

babysharkdoodoodedoodedoo · 19/07/2023 05:46

LOVE Bonnie, Juno and Coco.

Marnie, Alma and Jude are really cool.

Thea and Maya are a bit more common and mainstream, seem a bit dull in comparison.

Don’t like Bibi but it’s a cute nickname. How about Bea?

I had a dog called Bonnie, her farts were horrendous, you'd often have to leave the room.

I also have a dog called bonnie. Not as farty as yours but still makes the name a no go for me!
