So I like the Q sound and I like the “ee” at the end.

So we have:
Queenie
Quincy
Queefie
Quiannee/Quianie

Any others?

I don't want to google it but I'm pretty sure Queefie isn't a name you'd want to give a child.

SurpriseSparDay · 18/06/2023 13:44

Isn’t Queenie a diminutive, rather than a real name? I’ve known it used for an Alexandra.

(Sorry, not helpful!)

TonysGaff · 18/06/2023 13:44

If you like Queefie, how about Quinsy 😂

I think Queenie is the only usable name on that list. Quincy is okay but too much like Quinsy.

SurpriseSparDay · 18/06/2023 13:45

Quintana?

NuffSaidSam · 18/06/2023 13:45

Please do not call your child Queefie!

Somanycats · 18/06/2023 13:46

Quinn?

monicagellerbing · 18/06/2023 13:47

Queefie. Ffs

NuffSaidSam · 18/06/2023 13:48

The Q sound is very similar to the K/C sound, so how about:

Keeley
Kelly
Casey
Kayleigh
Kylie
Connie
Cody
Cassie
Carrie
Kerry
Cobey

Barbie222 · 18/06/2023 13:48

Queenie was a short form for Winifred in our family, but I'm going back 100 years - was a popular Edwardian name. I guess it was a mouthful to say as a child, and the nickname stuck.

Barbie222 · 18/06/2023 13:50

Quinsy was an ailment I think?

Barbie222 · 18/06/2023 13:50

'Quinsy throat' - tonsillitis

ThePersistenceOfMammories · 18/06/2023 13:50

I love Queenie, reminds me of my old next door neighbour when I was growing up.

I really like Keeley/Keiley from PPs list too.

carkerpartridge · 18/06/2023 13:52

This has to be a joke! If not, I would stick with Queenie if you really like it. The others are terrible! They sound made up and are awful. Quincy sounds like quinsy and apparently queef means fanny fart.

Catbumps · 18/06/2023 13:54

Fuck off this isn’t real…queefie….

SylvanianFrenemies · 18/06/2023 13:55

A queef is a fanny fart. So maybe reconsider that one.

quietnightmare · 18/06/2023 13:55

Queenilynn
Queenlia
Quinny
Quinnee
Queenola
Queena
Queeno
Queenay

MooseBreath · 18/06/2023 13:57

Queefie and Quiannie aren't usable.

I knew a girl named Quinn who was nicknamed Quinnie as a child.

Caoimhe is kind of what you're looking for, pronounced "kwee-va", but many would say "kee-va".

TitsonaFishRidingaBicycle · 18/06/2023 13:57

Quahog(ie)
Quizzy
Quality
Questionably

But definitely go with Queefie 💨

CarolDunne · 18/06/2023 13:59

Caoimhe

sawnotseen · 18/06/2023 14:02

Isn't Quincey / Quinsey a sort if tonsillitis ? My sister had it as a child.
I love Queenie as I have a friend with the most adorable one.

TeenDivided · 18/06/2023 14:02

Queenie is a nickname for Victoria / Alexandra / Elizabeth (& I guess now Camilla)

Bearpawk · 18/06/2023 14:05

Absolutely dying at the thought of a baby names queefy ffs 🤦🏻‍♀️

Catbumps · 18/06/2023 14:08

Quim?
quimmy

DuchessOfSausage · 18/06/2023 14:09

Quince, Quorn, Quiche or Quesadilla

MrsSkylerWhite · 18/06/2023 14:09

Please don’t, you’ll not be thanked in years to come.
