I sometimes wonder why Circe isn’t really used at all. I think it’s lovely.

My daughter’s name has been mentioned in a lovely comment 🥰.

Could be because she tried to force Odysseus to stay on her island and turned his men into pigs 😂

Love Tabitha, Tallulah and once knew a girl called Talisker, (shortened to talli) also like Billie for a girl, but our surname begins with a B and we thought it sounded like a circus act!

callmesophia · 11/03/2023 19:21

I have a Bluebell and a River (girl).

Pregnant with baby number 4, who I think will be a girl... so appreciating all the inspo here!

I like Teleri. I grew with several Eleri classmates (in Wales) and liked the name, but then found Teleri in Lord of the Rings which was an Elvish name linked to Eleri. I think it's pretty.

I also like Elanor (not Eleanor) which is also a Lord of the Rings name.

I really like Calliope, Jocasta, India, and probably loads more.

Tbf I like India/Indie because of Indiana Jones 😁.

DH vetoed all and the DC have more classic popular names mentioned on thread.

might be different based on area. I’m in the Midlands and there is a huge Asian community and about 30% of them seem to be called Zara/Zahra. I think it’s like our ‘Olivia’
