I think it's lovely

DaisyCornflowerBlue · 15/02/2023 05:22

I think, old lady.

Imogensmumma · 15/02/2023 05:31

I love it, as long as you are happy it will get shortened to Rose or Rosie…

Some kids might be cruel and ask where the roast is but kids will always find something to be mean about

Judgyjudgy · 15/02/2023 05:32

Old lady

Susy997 · 15/02/2023 05:36

I like it but it will probably get shortened.

I don’t think the next generation will see it as an old lady name at all.

TheBitchOfTheVicar · 15/02/2023 05:39

Love it

MoggyMittens23 · 15/02/2023 06:03

It's a mouthful (that might just be me) but it seems like an effort to say it! It will just get shortened anyway. How about Rosa?

AnotherNameChangeYes · 15/02/2023 06:31

Not keen on it, find it a bit frumpy. It’ll get shortened to Rosie either way.

Flossingisforteeth · 15/02/2023 06:42

Beautiful

bubblecity · 15/02/2023 06:44

I love it and think “Romy” could be another cute nickname 😊

Can't imagine this happening at all!

It's a nice name :)

Luredbyapomegranate · 15/02/2023 06:51

I like it, but think she’ll be called Rose or Rosie.. and there are a lot of those

I think this is… unlikely. Herb based bullying not being a thing.

😂

I really like it OP.

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 15/02/2023 07:31

Of 'Rose' names, I like Rosamund the best.

SunnieShine · 15/02/2023 07:45

I think it's dull.

Tourmalines · 15/02/2023 07:49

Not keen, too old sounding . However, I love Rosie which it probably would be shortened to

BrilliantUsername · 15/02/2023 07:53

I like Rosie but not Rosemary it sounds very formal and prim.

Whiskeypowers · 15/02/2023 07:54

It’s lovely, I know a little girl with this name.

WinterFoxes · 15/02/2023 07:55

I like it. It's pretty and has lots of options for NN: Rose, Rosie,Rosa, Romy, Mary, May.
And the plant is beautiful, fragrant and has health-giving properties so it's lovely by association too.

Jewelanemone · 15/02/2023 07:59

Lovely name (I had a favourite Auntie Rosemary).

LegoGoldenDragon · 15/02/2023 08:03

I love it. Was on my girls name list, but I had boys. I also like Rhoda and Roise, although the latter would always be mistaken for Rosie in England.

Nimbostratus100 · 15/02/2023 08:05

absolutely beautiful

hansolosmum · 15/02/2023 08:06

I am a Rosemary. Can confirm I was never roast dinner bullied (although the thought of a roast is making me hungry!).
I've always been Rosie though or sometimes Rose with my parents..I'm saving the full name to use in my sunset years!

Hoolihan · 15/02/2023 08:09

It's my daughters middle name (after my mum) and I really like it obvs but I do agree with the PP that it's quite hard to say somehow! It doesn't roll off the tongue. My daughter pronounces it 'Rose-um-ry' which sounds awful 😂
