L middle name for Delilah

Basically that. After we’d chosen Delilah DH mentioned he would like baby to have the same initials as his mum as one of our other children has my mums name.

I’m drawing a blank, Delilah is already quite L heavy so think it needs to be a shorter name. Any suggestions?

My top contender was Loveday but DH not keen

Delilah Louise has quite a nice rhythm to it.

What is DH's mum's name? Couldn't you use it? If another child has your mum's name it seems a fitting choice to use his mum's name unless it's something awful!

It and her middle name are sadly awful and even she said you couldn’t burden a child with it 😂

Delilah Louise is lovely because of the way the stress falls on the second syllable of Louise.

Delilah Lilly sounds really pretty

I was going to say Louise too. I think Delilah Louise flows really nicely.

Is her middle name Lettice?!

I think anything beginning with L is going to make the name into a tongue-twister, when coupled with Delilah. Maybe not with something similar like Delia, but it depends how set you are on Delilah. Whatever you do, I'd go for a one-syllable middle name if possible - and definitely not Lily!

I just saw that I x-posted with somebody who clearly disagrees with my thinking on Delilah Lily!

Really want to know what MIL’s first and middle name are if both are so awful they couldn’t even be a middle name as too much burden on the child 😂
I can only think of Fanny or Titty that would be that bad, both of which are short for quite nice names.

I agree with the choice Delilah Louise, very pretty and melodic.
