I am religious and absolutely love this biblical name. What does the general public think and I know a lot Mumsnetters aren't Christians.

Sorry, sounds like a brand of 'tech' to me. But I'm guessing these days it'll blend into all the other kids names.

Awful, sorry. Imagine being a kid called Boaz?

Ok, it's obviously a clear no from the general public!!! It is important to check with others I find despite me loving it.

I know one. He is an absolutely delightful boy.

When I wass about 15, I did a German GCSE listening examination that included the name Boaz. There were so many kids laughing at the name self included that they almost had to stop and invalidate the exam.

Don't do that to your actual child if you live in the UK.

also makes me think of Boaz from Queen of the South and he was a defo no, but if you like it who cares, it would defo be unique unless you possibly in Mexico 😊

Jessandtess · 14/01/2023 12:03

Oh honey no, put this down to a moment of pregnancy madness and move on for this poor child’s sake!

It sounds like a noise Ali G would make with that hand thing he used to do.

I think it's OK. The biblical one was generous and kind.

Bez is short for Berry.
