Thoughts on the name Rocco?

I love it-my sons dog is a rocco
it’s a lovely name

Very good name. Only know 1 Rocco and he is a nice guy.

I know it's a common Italian name, but my first thought is the porn star (not gonna lie).
I think it's okay but it wouldn't be my choice.

There is a super famous porn star called Rocco si Freddy so for me it's a no!

Not a fan sorry. Tbh I've only known it used for dogs, mostly boxers and staffies

My son is friends with a Rocco. He's a lovely boy, I love the name

Can you pronounce your Rs because for me, even with months of practice, it'd be Wocko.

This is why my son isn't Robin (Wobin).

It reminds me of Rocco's modern life. Bit of a niche reference though i guess

It's not very common at all in Italy and quite "old-fashioned"
I've only ever met one (named after his grandfather) in the 28 years I've lived here.
Of course, as mentioned above, the most famous one is an ageing porn star.

I like it but do think of it as a dog name.

I usually hate these types of names but I actually quite like this one! Didn't know about the porn star, but I don't really keep up to date with porn stars... 🤷

I've taught a few, they've always been lovely kids.

I loved it and then I met a horrible man named Rocco and now dislike it!

I'm surprised, I didn't think anyone would like it! We are having fertility issues but the name just randomly came to me yeaturday! If it doesn't happen I agree, it does suit a dog so we will just have to get another dog lol 😄

Rocco is a lovely name if u like it who cares what other people think xx

It certainly is one of those "tough guy" names that seems perfect for a particular dog breed; but there's also a Saint Rocco. 😇

Only known one, Italian, gorgeous . I think it's great.
