which do you prefer & why

These names were both on my list! I prefer Jude I think.
Of your new list I really like Lex.
and I like Jack but it is very popular, Lex is more unusual.
Daniel/Danny great too.

I like both names…Lois will become very popular because of Prince Louis ,so Jude would be my choice.

Louie may be cute for a kid but it’s not a name for an adult, imagine a professional eg doctor or lawyer called Louie…

I think Louie could be a lawyer or a doctor it’s not an unusual name particularly

I don't think Louie is any different to the other -ie names like Alfie, Archie, Albie etc.

Well if you spell it with an s it didn't seem to stop Louis Pasteur.

That’s the problem with it -and worse. Spelling it Louie makes it fit alongside all those twee -ie shortened baby names, when in fact it deserves better. It’s French, not English, it’s a full name, not a twee shortened name, it’s an ancient classic name, not a modernised trendy name.

Well Pasteur didn't need the OP to spell it with an S because he did spell it with an S.

Both, but spell Louie as Louis.

By both I mean I like either- but spell Louis this way.
