Boy's Name Please - unusual but not whacky

Me and husband can't decide on a boy's name.

I like names that are unusual. I don't want Fred or John or James, although they are lovely names.

Celtic would work, we are British.

My husband favours traditional names but I just want something that stands out.

Ideas are so welcome and appreciated, maybe we can agree on something from the list as we haven't been able to agree so far, and it's important for us to agree.

How about a traditional name that could be shortened to something more modern. For example:
Alexander could be Lex, Xander, Al
Isaac - Zak, Ike
Nathaniel - Nathan, Nate
Oliver - Ol, Ollie
Robert - Rob, Robbie

That's a nice idea actually. But no. I don't want a traditional or modern name.

I want a name that is rare or unusual.
