Danish baby names?

Hi!
Partner is Danish and we'd like to give our new little one (yet to arrive) a Danish name.
Have looked up the common ones but nothing has stood out. Thanks :-)

I'd have thought for a girl Sofie would have been suggested by several people.

My ds is best friends with a Danish boy - he’s called Valdemar!

For a girl, Elsa (my granny's name). Or my dad's cousin's name: Inga.

Boys: Pieter, Karl (think it's actually Carol bit that could be problematic in this country. )

I love Inge. But it may be Norwegian.

Does Elin or Elina work in Danish for a girl? Love both those names, but I will be working off the Finnish/Swedish pronounciation, which isn't toooooo too bad in English. Also Katja?

Katje becomes Ket-ya,

In danish, I think

Ket-chya maybe is more accurate for Katja.
