I think of Miriam Margolyes

One of my oldest friends! She is clever, beautiful and fiercely loyal

Am an atheist so any religious reference wouldn't be made by me.

I went to school with a very sweet little Miriam when I was about six. I've always thought it was a pretty and quite unusual name.
I didn't know it was a biblical name at the time.

My main association is loving the name for a potential DD, but not loving any of the nicknames.

Miriam Stoppard. I remember her on a programme in the 80s. can’t remember the name of it but remember the time. She was matter of fact but kind as I seem to remember.
I think her husband left her for Felicity Kendall.

It's a popular name in Spain and so it makes me think of a Spanish lady I know.

I know 2 Miriams one about 80 , stalwart deliverer of parish magazine, the other I only found out her actual name last year, late 50s known as Mimi.

It is a beautiful, Jewish, biblical name. I love it.

Older lady. A bit stuffy and boring.

I don't really have any associations with the name, except that it's the name of a childhood friend's absolutely lovely sister. She would be about 30 now, I think.
