Middle name for Lisamarie

Last name sounds like Layhee
Some names I like but can't use are Finnley, Giselle, Jasmin, Bonnie, Dorothy, and Adina, so I guess my name style is already established names that aren't that common or common anymore.
Thanks!

Could I be the first of many posters to suggest first name Lisa, second name Marie?

DramaAlpaca · 17/09/2021 18:20

Seconded

yes, but it's actually an honour name from someone named Lisamarie, no space. thank you, tho!

What is an honour name out of interest? I think if you have effectively two names in one, another name isn't required.

Fubitch · 17/09/2021 18:26

Yeah you don't need a middle name.

GunsNShips · 17/09/2021 18:31

I think a name starting with a vowel with 2+ syllables would be good. Something like evangeline or Aurora?

So say your mom was named Anne, so you want to name your kid Anne to honour her. That's an honour name. And having a middle name is a bit important to us because, in our family, we end up calling the kids their middle names bust as much as their first! Thanks!

I wouldn't bother with a middle name. Your chosen name has 2 names in it anyway so no need to add more.

DoesHePlayTheFiddle · 17/09/2021 18:34

Lisa is one name. Marie is another. How many to you need? Just because one person misunderstood and ran the names together, doesn't mean that you have to.

@GunsNShips Thank you so much for answering!

Presley popped into my head!

I think you need to stick with one, or at the most two, syllable names for the middle.

thisismyhill · 17/09/2021 18:39

Louisa came into my head but that might be too many Ls.

HerRoyalRisesAgain · 17/09/2021 18:42

I think one syllable names will go better.

Lisamarie Rose
Lisamarie Jane
Lisamarie Wren

DevilFinger · 17/09/2021 18:43

Second Presley ^^

AnneBoleyn6 · 17/09/2021 18:45

@HerRoyalRisesAgain Thank you! These are great, I love Lisamarie Rose, and agree about the 1 syllable thing

Third Presley

JaninaDuszejko · 17/09/2021 18:46

I really want to say Presley Grin! Is there anyone else in the family you'd like to honour? Or are you looking for a unique to them name? Lisamarie is quite vowel heavy, don't know if you want to continue that or have a name with harsher consonants like Catherine.

Not quite sure why so many PPs think she can't have a middle name. Does that someone called Rosemary or Elizabeth can't have a middle name? Or that people can't have two middle names.

Disfordarkchocolate · 17/09/2021 18:47

Lisamarie Gwen/Joan/Georgia /Kara.

I'd be inclined to have Lisamarie as the middle name. I think children should have their own name, middle names are to honour people we love.

StarryStarrySocks · 17/09/2021 18:49

Another vote for Presley.

MargosKaftan · 17/09/2021 18:49

Agree that a longer name would work best. Are there any other family names? Perhaps on the otherside.

You know Marie Rose is a sauce you put on prawns, right?

HermioneWeasley · 17/09/2021 18:56

Clare?
Antoinette?

I read that as Parsley, as if this thread isn't odd enough
PurpleEchoLamp · 17/09/2021 19:01
