I love it. I have a lovely friend called Martha and I've always admired it as a name. It's old timey but not boring, and pleasing to say out loud! A really lovely name and not super common.

I'm surprised pps think it's going to make a comeback because in my neck of the woods (SW) it's been popular for a while. Personally know of 5 Marthas among DD's friends and acquaintances ranging from 7 - 16 in age.

I like the name but I think of work and hessian for some reason!

I taught a girl called Martha who was just lovely and very bright. I think it's a nice name, not odd and people will understand the name, but it's not overly used
